    Love this hole in the wall right in Orinda! Whenever I'm craving a burrito, it's straight to Maya I go. I always order the super burrito with chicken and the ratio of ingredients are always spot on. Their chips are also delicious and the green salsa is to die for. It's a tiny restaurant, but the staff is always friendly and they are quick!

    What happened??? I was so disappointed with the store bought chips (subpar ones at that) and too creamy guacamole with a citric acid aftertaste,p. Worst of all, I double confirmed that my enchilada would be made with a corn tortilla due to a slight gluten sensitivity. I was so weirded out by its contents that it took a few bites to even register that they'd used a flour tortilla anyway. My dining partner, who received exactly what he asked for, says he feels like he just ate food laced with soap. We are both really regretting our meals right now!
    I used to be such a fan of Maya but at this point I'd only go back if the they had a complete overhaul. Between this and the terrible place across the freeway, I guess Orindans aren't meant to eat Mexican food. ¡Que lástima!

    they close at 8 but turn people away at the door at 7:30. this is very disappointing because i like burritos. they are forgetful also. i ordered a bean and cheese burrito only to find that there is barely any cheese and it is loaded with beans. TOO MUCH BEANS

    I ordered crispy tacos and my shells were burned. Also they do not have containers of salsa to provide with the chips.

    I went to this place on a whim as I was incredibly hungry, had my son with me, and was looking for cheap comida mexicana. When I think of Orinda the last thing I think of is cheap food. Well 7 bucks for a juicy surprisingly plump veggie burrito my mouth watered and money in pocket winked at me. It comes with all the guacamole crema y queso. It was incredible. Every last morsel I devoured. Liked the salsa bar and free chips. Too bad I don't live out this way. I'll be back here. Kids menu toooo.
